Jul-Feb 20-21 export report of Leather, Leather Product and Allied sector of Bangladesh

According to export promotion bureau report for Bangladesh Leather, footwear and allied sector, February 2021 can consider as recovery month for leather and leather product segment. At the same, this is very tough month for other footwear segment.

As per report Jul-Feb20-21 export, Leather export still 12.87% negative growth compare to last year. Leather product 9.42% negative growth. Leather footwear minimizing gap with target and shows a positive +0.20% compare to last year. Overall leather and leather product are still 4.15% negative growth compare to last year. Tough month for other footwear, going down and now negative growth of 0.29% compare to last financial period.
